The Zeitgiest Movement

Drawdown

Project Drawdown is facilitating a broad coalition of researchers, scientists, graduate students, PhDs, post-docs, policy makers, business leaders and activists to assemble and present the best available information on climate solutions in order to describe their beneficial financial, social and environmental impact over the next thirty years.  To date, the full range and impact of climate solutions have not been explained in a way that bridges the divide between urgency and agency. Thus the aspirations of people who want to enact meaningful solutions remain largely untapped. Dr. Leon Clark, one of the lead authors of the IPCC 5th Assessment, wrote, "We have the technologies, but we really have no sense of what it would take to deploy them at scale." Together, let’s figure it out.

Earth Treasure Vase

Inspired by an ancient Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the Earth Treasure Vase Global Healing Project brings healing and protection to the Earth by filling consecrated clay vessels with prayers and offerings, and ceremonially burying them in the Earth in collaboration with indigenous elders, young activists and grassroots leaders in places where healing and protection are most needed around the planet.

We imagine a world where communities and nations sustainably manage their forests and natural resources for the benefit of our climate, our environment and humanity. Building upon corporate and scientific partnerships, WeForest empowers communities to sustainably advance and implement innovative, high standard, scalable and lasting solutions to restore forest landscapes. Our goal is to successfully transform 250,000 ha of forest landscape by 2021, restoring  25,000 ha of forests (with an estimate of  25 million trees) demonstrating FLR best practices in different ecosystems and leading to the adoption of an international standard.

IV. SPECIAL FEATURE: World Water Law

The World Water Law invites all of humanity to unite around the radical healing of the planetary Waters and Water cycle. This foundational Law works to ensure that all humans and animals have guaranteed access to natural, uncontaminated Water.
